How best can I reach members of the Libertas team for questions and general information?
We maintain many open channels for our customers to reach out to us. The best way to reach us (for questions on shipping, delivery, orders, product questions, and any other general information) is via email at customerservice@libertashealth.com.

When will my orders ship?
If an order is placed before 12 pm CST during our business hours on Monday through Friday, the order will be shipped that same day. Saturday orders will typically be shipped on Monday.

How long should it take to receive my order? It usually takes approximately 5-10 business days after we have received your order.

What payment options does Libertas offer?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. We employ the Internet's strongest security technologies, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Your personal financial information necessary to complete a transaction is transmitted via the Internet in a safe and encrypted.

Can Libertas products be picked up from your office? Yes, products can be picked up from our main office in Fairhope, Alabama between 9AM and 5PM Monday through Friday.

How much does shipping cost?
The standard charge for shipping on Libertas products is $7.95, regardless of volume or size of order.

Can I cancel an order after it is placed?
Once we complete the checkout process, orders cannot be canceled.  As soon as an order is placed, our warehouse team immediately processes, packs, and ships the order.

Auto-ship cancellation? If you place a monthly auto-ship order and decide to cancel your auto-ship at a later date, please make the request by either emailing us at customerservice@libertashealth.com or call us at (251) 517-0555.  

Does Libertas Health Company charge sales tax?
State laws require that internet retailers collect sales tax on purchases from within the state in which the company’s operations are based. Libertas Health Company is based in Fairhope, Alabama; thus we are required to charge taxes applicable in Alabama.

What is the Libertas Return Policy?
No merchandise may be returned to us without prior written authorization, including Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please use our customerservice@libertashealth.com address to communicate any issues associated with the product and reason for return and to receive a RMA #. Returns have to be made within 30 days of receipt of your order and product can only be returned (and will only be accepted) unopened and in original packaging. To ensure proper crediting of your account in an expedited manner, a copy of the return authorization and/or RMA # is required for all returned merchandise, and should be included with the returned products. All returned items will be subject to a 10% processing fee. Please note shipping charges are not refundable.

Product availability – What if items on the website are out of stock?
Because sometimes demand becomes greater than projected, we may occasionally sell out of a product…although we always do our best to have product available to all customers. Should your chosen product not be in stock, we will back order the product and notify you via email within 1-2 days. We will then give you the option to cancel your order if the wait is too long.

Resveratrol shows metabolic benefits for obese: Study

Daily intakes of resveratrol – a compound from red wine – may improve the metabolic profile of people with obesity, according to a new study from Denmark.

Writing in the International Journal of Obesity, researchers from Aarhus University report that resveratrol changed the production of certain compounds called adipokines from human fat cells, and produced an anti-inflammatory effect.
